Search continues for teen in Tessa Majors’ murder

National News

NEW YORK (WFXR) – Police in New York are continuing to search for the 14-year-old boy they say may have been the one to stab Tessa Majors.

Majors, who was from Charlottesville, was a freshman at Barnard College when she was attacked, possibly from several young people who proceeded to rob her.

One of those attackers ended up stabbing Majors to death.

Another 14-year-old has been questioned and released.

Police have charged a 13-year-old boy with felony murder but that boy’s attorneys say the investigation is “flawed” by claiming police questioned him without a parent or attorney present.

The detective who testified that he heard the 13-year-old confess to the murder has been accused of falsifying evidence in the past.
