Foster children can qualify for pandemic aid

(WFXR) – Young people who are currently in foster care or were previously in foster care could be eligible for pandemic relief funds.

Those funds are being distributed by the Department of Social Services.

Foster children and former foster children 14 years of age, up to age 27 can qualify to receive the funds.

The goal is to help young people with basic needs like food, transportation and housing as they transition into adulthood.
