Meth dealer attempted to trade drugs for a car

FLOYD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A jury recommended 10 years for a woman charged with intent to distribute meth.

Rebecca Richard was part of a scheme to hand over meth in exchange for a car, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.

The jury’s recommendation was handed down on Tuesday for the Roanoke native.

Richard is scheduled for a formal sentencing in October.
