ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Man in moped crash on Sunday in Roanoke died of his injuries.
According to Roanoke City Police, witnesses saw the driver lose control of the moped and crash in the 300 block of Brandon Avenue SW on Nov. 24 around 4:45 p.m.
The moped driver, Larry Ayers, 67, of Roanoke, was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he died hours later.
Police said the cause of his death has not been determined.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
