Major fire engulfs two Jim Beam Bourbon warehouses in Kentucky

WOODFORD COUNTY, KY. (FOX) — Fox News is reporting thousands of bourbon barrels destroyed by a fire at two Jim Beam warehouses in Kentucky.

The fire broke out overnight at the aging facility in Woodford County.

The Emergency Management Director says the fire sparked in one warehouse, but quickly spread to another.

Roughly 45,000 barrels of bourbon were in the warehouse.

Officials haven’t released a cause for the fire, but believe it sparked from a lightning strike.

No injuries have been reported.
