The third annual Glow Ride where bicyclist ride under the light of the moon, is scheduled for Oct. 11, from 7:30- 9:30 p.m. at Percival’s Island.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Residents of the Lynchburg area will have the opportunity to take a ride with friends and family by moonlight next month.

The Glow Ride is scheduled for Oct. 11, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Percival’s Island in Lynchburg.

According to Lynchburg Park and Recreation, participants are encouraged to wear bright, festive colors and decorate their bikes with glow sticks and lights. A prize will be awarded for the most festive bike.

Advance registration is encouraged, but not required. You may register on Lynchburg’s Park and Recreation website.
