LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Linkhorne Drop-Off Recycling Center in the Forest Hills Shopping Center will close on Friday, September 13. The closure is due to the site owners’ need for additional employee parking.

The City is looking for an alternate location for the drop-off site; however, nothing has yet to be been finalized.

  • Grace Street, behind the Fire Station
  • Kroger, at Old Graves Mill Road & Timberlake Road
  • River Ridge Mall, near the JC Penney parking area
  • Alleghany Avenue & Lakeside Drive
  • Village Court Shopping Center, Boonsboro Road
  • VA Cooperative Extension, Concord Turnpike
