Lynchburg fire crews respond to early morning house fire

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg fire crews responded to an early morning house fire on Jones Street according to the Lynchburg Fire Department chief.

According to officials, the call came in around 2:59 Tuesday morning.

The fire also damaged two adjacent homes, and it took crews around 20 to 30 minutes to tame the flames.

Officials say the home is a total loss.

No injuries were reported, and the homeowner is currently out of town. Officials say they are aware of the status of the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
