UPDATE 6:30 a.m.: The Lynchburg Fire Department has reported that a number of residents have been displaced from the Vistas at Dreaming Creek Apartments on Timberland Road, following a fire that started on April 25.
There were no reported injuries from the fire, however, the Red Cross is currently working to help the individuals who are now without a home.
Lynchburg crews are cleaning up the scene, and the Fire Marshal’s office searching for the cause of the fire.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)— Lynchburg fire crews are on the scene of a fire at the Vistas at Dreaming Creek Apartments on Timberlake Road.
Building 200 has been evacuated, and the power has been cut as crews work to investigate a possible cause. There are 15 Lynchburg Fire Department units that responded.


Officials at the scene say initial reports of the fire came in around 4:30 a.m., and the fire happened in an attic.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
