Airsoft gun stolen from Roanoke store

Local

A person broke into an airsoft store and stole an airsoft rifle late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

The individual broke into Roanoke Airsoft through a window.

The suspect did steal a tan G&G Combat Machine and left the scene.

“We would like to get our property back,” said Grant Weaver, the manager of the store. “We’re a small store and so this kind of thing is not easy for us to handle.”

Dark mustache, maybe shaved it a few days ago, very short at the moment, but noticeable.

Weaver thinks whoever the suspect was may have scoped out the store beforehand. The suspect purposefully avoided cameras and shined a flashlight the blind one of the cameras.

“Because he was able to and purposely avoid cameras that we have for our store and our neighboring businesses cameras,” said Weaver.

Roanoke Police Department is aware of the incident and they are investigating.

Weaver has posted videos and images from the incident in hopes the community will help catch the culprit.

“We’re not making the most money in the world, but it’s worth it when it’s reciprocated and the effort you put into them, they’re now putting into you.”

No arrests have been made.
