Two Solutions for the Weekend
I have talked about this several times on this blog and this will be another one of those time… we have a couple of computer models that are not in agreement with the way the weekend storm is shaking out.
The GFS is grabbing a solution that will provide us with a fairly significant winter storm while the European solution has the bulk of the energy staying south and only throwing rain our direction on Sunday and Monday. So, which one will come to pass has yet to be determined.
The National Weather Service is leaning toward the European model, while the GFS seems to be consistent, it may be the aggressive and overdone model.
I am going to hold off on making the big call for the weekend, but the bottom line is… if you have plans for the weekend that involve doing something outside, do it on Saturday. Sunday looks to be a bit of a wild card at the moment with the potential to be a major problem. Jury is deliberating and will provide a verdict tomorrow.
