ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Motorists may want to find an alternative route Saturday, Feb. 1, as the “Wazupwidis 5K Urban-Cross Race” closes several streets in downtown Roanoke.
Below are the streets closed for through traffic from 8:30 – 10 a.m.:
- Market Street, between Salem Avenue and Norfolk Avenue
- Norfolk Avenue westbound, between Market Street and 1 ½ Street SW
- 3rd Street northbound, between Campbell Avenue and Norfolk Avenue
- Centre Avenue eastbound, between Henry Street and Jefferson Street
- Jefferson Street southbound, between Centre Avenue and Shenandoah Avenue
- Salem Avenue eastbound, between 4th Street SW and 2nd Street SW
- Salem Avenue, between Williamson Road and Jefferson Street
- Wall Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
- Williamson Road southbound right turn lane, between Shenandoah Avenue and Salem Avenue
