In Lynchburg, the City of Lynchburg’s Department of Water Resources is doing routine maintenance on a main water valve.

The work is going on until October 20th.

Here is a list of the affected roads:

Boonsboro Road Nichols Tavern Drive

Burnt Bridge Road Norvell House Court

Dogwood Lane Oak Park Place

Fieldale Road Old Forest Road

Inglewood Road Regency Woods Place

Lexington Drive Royal Oak Drive

Locksview Road Running Cedar Way

Longwood Road Sanders Lane

Mountain Laurel Drive

The Department of Water Resource says water in those areas could become discolored.

If that happens, they say to run cold water for three to five minutes.

They say to make sure it is cold water, not hot water.

They say if after five minutes, that doesn’t work, to call (434) 455-4250.
