WATCH: Jury recommends 40 years for Natalie Keepers

The jury has recommended a prison sentence of 40 years for Natalie Keepers. 

The pre-sentencing hearing will take place on November 27th. 

The jury deliberates a prison sentence for Natalie Keepers.

Thursday afternoon, the jury of eight men and four women found keepers guilty of accessory before the fact of first degree murder.

For the first time, we heard Keepers give an apologize to Nicole Lovell’s family.

Keepers, crying, said she was sorry and prays for Nicole Lovell’s family every night. 

Keepers mother and father also spoke and asked for mercy for their daughter. 

Tammy Weeks-Dowdy, Nicole’s mother, also spoke to the jury. 

Photos of Nicole Lovell and her family were shown to the jury. 

Tammy Weeks-Dowdy told the jury that this would haunt her family for the rest of their life.
