PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – A man wanted on multiple charges is in custody after attempting to elude police officers.

Police officers had been searching for Robert Bailey after he allegedly escaped from a police chase back in January.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Bailey hit a patrol car and then drove head onto into another one. He was last seen running away.

Just after 10 o’clock, deputies located Bailey where he once again tried to run away, but was captured after a foot pursuit.

Bailey was wanted on 18 various charges such as felony assault on law enforcement, domestic assault, and several more charges.

He is currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
