VT’s Principles of Community Week celebrates diversity, inclusion

Local News

This week is Virginia Tech’s fifth annual Principles of Community Week, and university officials want to make the message of inclusion clear.

We can’t just say it, said Mark Owczarski, VT spokesperson.

We have to practice it. That’s what the Principles of Community Week is all about. Having those voices be heard, have those conversations we need to have as a community.

Throughout the week, there will be a host of events and speakers open to the public that promote inclusion and diversity.
