HARRISONBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia State Police says a missing teenager may be in danger, after she disappeared Friday evening.

Police are looking for 13-year old Avery Atkinson-Grogg. She was last seen Friday, between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, on West Market Street in Harrisonburg. At the time, police say she was likely wearing a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Atkinson-Grogg may be traveling in a blue Honda Sedan, according to police, but the license plate is unknown.

Police say her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety, so they want to find her as soon as possible. Anyone with information about Atkinson-Grogg, or the vehicle she may be traveling in, is asked to reach out to the Harrisonburg State Police Department at (540) 434-4436.
