Virginia State Police issue Senior Alert for missing Bedford County man

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert courtesy of the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.

According to State Police, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 92-year-old Hugh Hester Godsey, a white male, standing 5’9″ tall, weighing 210 lbs with blue eyes and white hair.

He was last seen at 10:30 Tuesday morning at Burger King in the Food Lion Shopping Center in Forest.

Godsey is likely driving a red 2014 Nissan Frontier Pickup with a Virginia license plate VAU-3479. The pickup is said to have pre-existing damage to the rear bumper from a prior crash.

State Police say the missing senior suffers from cognitive impairment and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
