Vehicle of missing Bedford County man discovered along Blue Ridge Parkway in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Members of the National Park Service are searching for a missing Bedford County man around the Roanoke area of Blue Ridge Parkway.

The National Park Service says 26-year-old Brent Gibson was last known to be at the Roanoke River Overlook, which is where his vehicle was discovered on Wednesday, March 3. 

Officials say Gibson is a white man, 6’5″ inches tall, and approximately 240 pounds.

According to authorities, multiple Roanoke area emergency management agencies are assisting in the ongoing missing person search for Gibson.
