UPDATE: Trailer stolen from Franklin County last week recovered, police still searching for mower, culprit

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WFXR) – A trailer stolen from a Franklin County business last week has been recovered; however, police continue to search for a mower also stolen and the person or people responsible.

The initial incident happened late on May 6 or early on May 7, 2020 at the Pit Stop at 6900 Virgil Goode Highway in Rocky Mount.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has announced the 2012 Nexhaul trailer was found in Henry County.

The Husqvarna Zero Turn mower stolen with the trailer is still missing.

The mower and trailer were showcased on the property of Pit Stop to promote a charity fundraiser for the We Care of Franklin County and Crossroads Ruritans.
