An event is helping to connect adult leaders in our community with non-profits.
The United Way Catalyst is a group of people who are young professionals and care about helping the community.
They are hosting a Non-profit Board Fair Tuesday night.
Organizers say the event is to help spark a connection between those willing to volunteer their time and local non-profits in need of leaders to help run the organization.
“There’s a real need in this community for our young leaders to step up and take these leadership roles in our non-profits and help guide them into the future of helping this community,” said Jeff Collignon, VP Resource Development, United Way of Roanoke Valley.
The event will be held at Billy’s restaurant in downtown Roanoke from 6 to 8pm.
