Two men die in Pittsylvania County crash

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two men died in a two-vehicle crash on Route 57 in Pittsylvania County on Wednesday, Feb. 12, around 5:12 a.m.

According to Virginia State Police, the driver of a 2016 Honda Civic traveling east on Route 57, also known as Callands Road, near Route 623, crossed the center lane and crashed into a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Ford truck traveling west.

Quintez D. Nibblett, 27, of Martinsville, the driver of the Honda and Michael K. Pickral, 51, of Chatham, died at the scene, according to police.

Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt, according to law enforcement.

The crash remains under investigation.
