LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Police say two of their vehicles were involved in a crash on Lakeside Drive early Monday morning.
The incident took place at 2:40 a.m. on the 1900 block of Lakeside Drive near Moorman Drive.
Police say one of the officers was responding to a call when the two vehicles collided, leaving the officer who was not responding to a call with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital. Lynchburg Police say Lakeside Drive is now reopened.
