UPDATE: Roanoke Police confirm a 24 year old man was sent to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a shooting incident at a local restaurant at the Valley View Mall.

Around eleven o’clock  Monday night, police responded to the Smokey Bones.

One witness we spoke to says it started when a male customer was acting up inside the restaurant.

He then went outside as other guys followed.

The witness says he heard gunshots in the parking lot and says he was able to look out the window and see one peron being taken away in a stretcher by medics.

Police say no arrests have been made and this is an ongoing investigation.
