Two airlifted to hospital after Sunday crash in Halifax County

HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — First responders flew two people to the hospital Sunday following a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle in Halifax County.

The Halifax Volunteer Fire Department (Station Two) says crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car along Bethel Road on Sunday, Aug. 30.

Even though one person was not injured, two people were airlifted to the hospital, according to fire officials.

The department says the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), Virginia State Police, Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, Centra 1, Duke Lifeflight, and two other fire stations also operated at the scene of the crash.
