Former Virginia Tech freshman, David Eisenhauer, is accused of the abduction and murder of 13 year old Nicole Lovell back in January of 2016.

Eisenhauer was in court Monday Morning for pretrial hearings and the judge set a new trial date.

It will now start February 5th, the same day as his alleged accomplice Natalie Keepers’ trial is set to start.

The judge heard evidence and arguments on a motion to suppress evidence and a motion to suppress witness testimony.

The judge denied the defense’s motion to suppress witness testimony but will rule on the motion to suppress evidence at a later date.

The same judge is also expected to rule on a motion to suppress evidence from Natalie Keepers’ defense team on Wednesday.
