Suspect named in Vista Foods burglary in Bedford

BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) — Police have identified the man they say is responsible for a burglary at a Bedford grocery store.

The incident occurred Jan. 4, at the Vista Foods on East Washington Street. A suspect was arrested Friday, Jan. 10.

On Monday, Jan. 13, Bedford Police said Jeffrey Lamont Steptoe, 54, of Bedford was arrested. He faces charges of burglary, larceny, and destruction of property, according to Bedford Police Chief Todd Foreman.
