LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — T.C. Miller Elementary has announced that students and staff will return to their normal building on Friday, January 26th.

“We are so thankful to West Lynchburg Baptist Church for hosting us over the last few weeks,” said T. C. Miller Principal Jeff Guerin.

This update comes after about three weeks of students and staff attending school in person at West Lynchburg Baptist Church (WLBC). Lynchburg City School Officials say the temporary closure has allowed their custodial crew to perform necessary maintenance and repairs.

For the past 12 years, Lynchburg City Schools and WLBC have been partners through its Partners in Education (PIE) program. In late December, the church opened its doors to T. C. Miller students and staff for use of their classroom facilities after water damage at T.C. Miller.
