RICHMOND, Va. (WFXR) – Kroger will be holding peanut butter drives in all of its Mid-Atlantic stores starting this week.
For the third consecutive year, Kroger is partnering with Feeding America for the program.
This year’s drive runs from Wed., Aug. 18 through Tuesday, Sept. 14.
All customers have to do is purchase peanut butter and place it in the donation bin at the front of the store.
Any and all donations will benefit the local food bank.
“The peanut butter drive has been a great success in last two years, and we’re excited to bring back the drive for a third year in all of our Mid-Atlantic Kroger stores,” said Lori Raya, president of Kroger Mid-Atlantic. “Peanut butter is always high on the list of needed items from our food bank partners, and we’re hoping this month-long drive will be a great success to help them stock their shelves.”Lori Raya, President of Kroger Mid-Atlantic
