DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Sovah Health announced Thursday morning the reopening of Sovah Family Medicine–Brosville on Sept. 8, featuring Kristen Grabowski as the family nurse practitioner.
“We are excited to reopen this clinic with Kristen as the provider to serve the needs of the Brosville community,” said Alan Larson, Market President and CEO of Sovah Health-Danville. “Her reputation for achieving high levels of quality care and patient satisfaction will be an excellent resource for the community.”
According to Sovah Health, Grabowski received her her Bachelor of Science of Nursing from Western Governor University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. In addition, health officials say Grabowski worked in the Intensive Care Unit before joining Sovah Family Medicine–Danville in November 2019.
The healthcare organization says Grabowski will care for patients from children through adults at Sovah Family Medicine–Brosville, specializing in general health, preventative medicine, hypertension, diabetes, geriatrics, and women’s health.
The practice will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — except for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. — and will accept both walk-ins and appointments, but telehealth visits are also available, health officials say. The practice is located at 10390 Martinsville Highway in Danville, and health officials say you can make an appointment by calling (434) 799-2500.
