Woman reported missing from Henry County since July

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Henry County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in located a missing woman from Ridgeway.

According to deputies, Jeneen Lavita Valentine, 58, of Ridgeway has been missing since July 16, 2020, by her mother.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Valentine was last seen visiting an acquaintance at a residence on A.L. Philpott Highway in Martinsville on the evening of July 3, 2020.

Investigators searched Valentine’s home as well as the surrounding area on the ground and in the air for evidence related to her disappearance.

At this time, investigators are continuing to interview people who were known to associate with the missing woman.

Due to circumstances surrounding the disappearance, it is unknown whether or not she may have been involved in a vehicle crash or is a victim of foul play.

Deputies say that Valentine was operating a vehicle that was borrowed a 2002 Toyota Solara, two-door silver coupe with Virginia plate VC-3019.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for this vehicle in connection with Valentine’s disappearance.

Valentine is described as a Black female, 5’8″ tall, weighs 160 lbs., has long brown hair with brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts, you are asked to contact Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463). Crimestoppers offers a reward of up to $2,500 for information related to the crime.
