DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Some businesses across Danville and Pittsylvania County will be in the spotlight starting Monday.
It is part of Business Appreciation Week, which runs from Monday, June 7 through Friday, June 11. This year, the tagline will be #RootedInTheRegion, which aims to offer appreciation and respect to all businesses operating in the county.
The county has more than 3,100 employers, with more than 39,000 people employed. The region has a wide range of businesses, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, professional services, food services and restaurants, construction, finance, administrative, education, government, recreation and entertainment, information technology and agriculture.
Business Appreciation Week will recognize those local businesses and manufacturers who choose to locate and grow in the Danville-Pittsylvania County region.
