VSP: Vehicle crashes in Collinsville Monday night with several people inside

An 18-year old involved in the fatal crash that killed a teenager in Roanoke County in May has been indicted today.

COLLINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — State troopers were dispatched to Collinsville Monday night after a vehicle reportedly crashed and caught on fire with several people inside.

Virginia State Police says three people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, which took place around 9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, in the area of Longview Drive and Belmont Drive in Collinsville.

The three occupants were hospitalized with minor injuries after the vehicle crashed and caught on fire, BTW21 says.

According to BTW21, Virginia State Police says speed factored into the crash.

The crash is currently under investigation by Virginia State Police
