VSP: Drivers injured after crash involving Pittsylvania County school bus

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two people are injured after an afternoon crash involving a Pittsylvania County school bus and another vehicle.

Virginia State Police announced on Friday, Nov. 12 that the incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. in the 6400 block of Climax Road.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash, police say.

However, the school bus driver and the driver of the other vehicle were reportedly hurt. There is no word on the extent of their injuries at this time.

This marks at least the fourth crash involving a school bus in Southside Virginia this week, with the other three taking place in Henry County.
