CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Charlotte County authorities say missing 74-year-old Richard L. Bankston is safe and sound Tuesday morning after Virginia State Police issued a Senior Alert for him Monday evening.
According to the senior alert, the investigating agency determined Bankston’s disappearance posed a credible threat to his health and safety since he has a cognitive impairment.
Authorities say Bankston was last seen around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, along Richardson Road in Keysville.
However, at 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office announced that Bankston had been tracked down and that he was safe.
