South Boston Police seeking identity of man in connection with armed robbery

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WFXR) — The South Boston Police Department is asking for help from the community to identify a person wanted in connection with a Monday night armed robbery at a convenience store.

The department says the armed robbery occurred shortly after 9:45 p.m. on Monday, June 21 at the Jiffy convenience store on John Randolph Boulevard.

According to police, the subject photographed above was described as a man with a deep voice.

If you know the identity of this person, you are asked to call the South Boston Police Department at (434) 575-7203, message the department on Facebook, or call the Halifax County Crime Stoppers at (434) 476-8445.

Officials say anyone who shares information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
