UPDATE: Route 220 reopens after earlier tractor-trailer crash in Henry County

UPDATE 7:35 p.m.: The tractor-trailer crash on southbound Route 220 in Henry County has been cleared.

Authorities tell WFXR News that the tractor-trailer blew its left-front tire which caused it to hit a guardrail.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – A tractor-trailer crash has closed all southbound lanes of Route 220 in Henry County, near Martinsville.

According to VDOT, the crash is located in the area of William F. Stone Highway – just north of the Route 58 Business exit to Martinsville.

Drivers will need to find another route around this crash.
