UPDATE 8:51 p.m. — The Danville Police Department has reported that 13-year-old Perla Mendoza has been found safe.
DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are asking for help from the Danville community to find a missing 13-year-old girl with medical issues.
The Danville Police Department says Perla Mendosa from Lansbury Drive was last seen at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14.
According to the department, Mendosa has known medical conditions, as well as limited proficiency in English.
Police say they are searching the area at this time, but if you happen to come in contact with Mendosa, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
