DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are currently searching for a man and two teenagers in connection with a Saturday evening burglary in Danville.

According to the Danville Police Department, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Solomon Ceraphin for burglary in connection with an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Jordan Street on Saturday, June 5.

The department says investigators also obtained charges against a 17-year-old boy for burglary and charged a 16-year-old boy with burglary and several firearms related offenses in connection with Saturday’s incident.

Police say a resident called 911 at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday to report three people breaking into their house. The resident reportedly recognized the individuals and ran from the house.

One of the suspects fired a gun during the encounter, but nobody was hurt, according to the department.

The three individuals — all of whom are from Danville — reportedly stole some items from the house and ran away before officers arrived on scene.

Authorities say all three suspects are still at large, so if you have information about these cases, you are asked to contact the Danville Police Department at (434) 793-0000.
