BASSETT, Va. (WFXR) — Campbell Court Elementary School and its students recently received a donation from Nelson Subaru and AdoptAClassroom.org that will help teachers stock its classrooms with school supplies and teaching materials.

Nelson Subaru’s donation is through their Subaru Loves Learning program which aims to help further equity in education. A partnership between Subaru Loves Learning and AdoptAClassroom.org has helped more than 600 schools across the country receive funding to equip their classrooms with resources intended to enhance education and help students succeed.

Nelson Subaru’s donation will help support more than 115 Bassett students in PreK through fifth grade.

“We are so honored to have the support of the community through donations such as this. The items each of the impacted classrooms will receive will help to encourage each student to learn in exciting ways,” said Campbell Court principal, Kenya Gravely.
