Lumber truck crashes into Chatham Knitting Mills building Friday

CHATHAM, Va. (WFXR) — Pittsylvania County first responders were called out to a Chatham landmark Friday morning after a lumber truck crashed into the building.

The Chatham Volunteer Fire Department says the tractor-trailer hauling lumber crashed into the Chatham Knitting Mills building right before 7 a.m. on Friday, July 23.

The department did not share the extent of the damage the building sustained.

However, there are no reports of injuries resulting from this crash.
