DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Looking for some Friday night fun with the family? How about a free movie night under the stars in Danville?

Danville Parks and Recreation’s “Movies at the Crossing” kicks off on Friday, May 7 at the Carrington Pavilion, featuring games, food from the J’Licious food truck, and activities for families and friends to enjoy.

The gates are set to open at 7 p.m., but the movie “Trolls” will not start on the big screen until 8:30 p.m.

“The weather is looking good for movie time but be sure to bring your lawn chairs because the grass may be a little damp,” Danville Parks and Recreation posted on Facebook Friday morning.
