E-commerce leader plans to add 1,000 jobs to Martinsville fulfillment center

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — On Tuesday, E-commerce leader Radial announced plans to add about 1,000 jobs to its Martinsville fulfillment center in order to support the surging demand during the peak holiday season. 

According to the company, no experience is necessary. 

In addition, while the jobs are currently seasonal, they could lead to full-time positions with benefits after the holidays. During the rest of the year, the Martinsville facility usually has 300 to 400 full time employees.

“Residents in the Martinsville area will have the opportunity to opportunity to kickstart a career in retail and supply chain – accepting applications for entry-level warehouse positions. Workers will be responsible for processing online orders, including picking, sorting, packing, and shipping both single and multi-unit orders,” Radial said in a statement to WFXR News. “ With access to comprehensive on the job training, this is a unique opportunity to help local residents make some extra cash this holiday season. Seasonal workers enjoy the benefits of a team environment that feels like family, competitive hourly wages, a variety of work schedules and overtime.”

Pay will be $15 for the first shift and $16 for the second shift.
