DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR)— The Danville Police Department is looking for a man in connection with a shooting from last month.
The department says 25-year-old Kaos Green is charged with aggravated assault and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection to a shooting shortly after midnight on Nov. 14.
Police said a 26-year-old man was seriously injured after being shot in the torso in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Piney Forest Road. Bystanders took him to the hospital where he was stabilized and transported to UNC Medical Center, according to the department.
According to investigators, evidence indicates that Green and the victim knew one another and the shooting occurred because of an altercation.
