DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Danville Police Department is asking for the community’s help tracking down two men accused of robbing a bank late Monday afternoon.

The department says the robbery happened at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, July 25 at the American National Bank & Trust in the 1400 block of South Boston Road.

According to police, the two men took some cash and then ran off on South Boston Road, with one heading west and the other heading east, all without showing any weapons.

Authorities describe the men as being in their late teens to 20s, both of whom wore masks hiding their lower faces during the robbery.

In addition, one man was wearing a “red/orange hooded sweatshirt with white/black pattern Nike logo,” along with dark pants and shoes, while the other man was wearing black pants, a black top with a single white stripe on the long sleeves, a camouflage pattern New York Yankees baseball hat, and white shoes, officials say.
