DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Danville Parks and Recreation want kids of all ages to get ready to stimulate their minds while staying active in summer.
“We’re proud to offer such a variety of camps that we know everyone will enjoy,” said Communications Specialist Brittney Ham. “We aim to provide enriching opportunities for everyone to make the most of their summer.”
Summer camps are back with an outdoor, educational, library, and therapeutic opportunities available for kids ages 5 and up. If you are looking for a more education camp there will be a wide variety of topics covered from STEAM to gardening and video making at Coates Recreation Center. If your kids are looking for an outdoor experience there will be kayaking, ziplining, hiking, and high-ropes adventures.
The Danville Camps website will have a full list of prices, dates, weekly themes, and how to register. All the fun kicks off with a party on Thursday, June 9.
