Danville home hit by gunfire early Tuesday morning, police say

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Police say there are no reports of injuries, but one report of property damage following an early morning shooting in Danville.

The Danville Police Department told WFXR News that a report came in about shots fired just before 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28 in the 900 block of Stokes Street. 

According to police, nobody was shot in the incident, but one home was hit by gunfire.

Authorities say they are still investigating the source of the shooting and whether there was an intended target.
