DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Danville City Council is set to hold a public hearing Tuesday evening on a new zoning ordinance for the planned Caesar’s casino.
The new ordinance regulates how much exterior lighting and how many signs are allowed, as well as how tall the casino can be.
The council will also vote to spend a portion of the $15 million Caesar’s paid to the city last year.
Some of that money will go toward school renovations, a new police headquarters, and fighting blight in the city.
The Danville City Council meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4.
