DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The City of Danville says it is continuing its Audubon Drive project to improve the roads and drainage system on Riverside Drive in the Danville area on January 30.
The city says the project will add a sidewalk from Riverside Drive to Apollo Avenue. This addition will also include pedestrian lights on Riverside Drive. The city says as a result of the project, traffic between Riverside Drive and Apollo Avenue will be restricted periodically.
Drivers traveling in this area are encouraged to slow down and be on alert for different traffic patterns. Travelers are also encouraged to seek alternative routes of travel.
The city says the project is expected to be completed by mid to late summer of 2023.
