Crews working to restore MINet internet, phone service in Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Repair efforts are currently underway in Martinsville after the city’s fiberoptic feed was cut Sunday morning, affecting internet and phones covered by the MINet system.

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, the City of Martinsville announced that workers were handling the cut feed.

City officials say customers should expect their service to be restored by noon on Monday.
